Elenia Manzan is a third-year PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Aniello Mennella (University of Milan).

Her research focuses on the data analysis of QUBIC (Q&U Bolometric Interferometer for Cosmology), which is a ground-based experiment for measuring the primordial B-mode polarization of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) and is the first-ever experiment based on bolometric interferometry.

Her work contributes to developing the QUBIC pipeline as well as studying the scientific case of the QUBIC Technological Demonstrator (TD), which is a prototype that will operate from Alto Chorillo, Argentina, from 2022 to demonstrate bolometric interferometry with sky measurements. She is particularly interested in controlling the galactic foreground contamination of CMB measurements, dominated by the galactic dust emission in the QUBIC frequency range (150 GHz and 220 GHz).
